Pepsi-Cola – Toronto 1985

Coke sponsored the Sky Dome, the Toronto sports stadium with the retractable roof, much to the fury of Pepsi. Cola Wars. We were commissioned by Pepsi's agency, J. Walter Thompson of New York, to design something truly exceptional, a non-branded piece of brand architecture, one of the 140 executive boxes to be The Pepsi Sky Box. They wanted the best design, the best materials & the best craftsmanship to represent Pepsi's brand image, & not cover the place in obvious advertising clutter. Brilliant.
